Personal data protection

The User acknowledges that My Europe Journey s.r.o., ID No.: 07947623, with its registered office at Horní náměstí 3, 755 01 Vsetín ("the Administrator"), may process cookies, text files sent by websites and stored on the User's device ("cookies"), for the purpose of ensuring the basic functions of the online shop and for marketing purposes, based on the legitimate interest of the Administrator. Any other cookies beyond the legitimate interest of the controller are authorised to be processed by the controller, provided that the user gives his free, specific, informed and unambiguous consent to their processing.

Consent to the processing of cookies can be given within the internet browser and its settings. Most browsers automatically accept cookies by default. In order to withdraw consent, you can refuse cookies via your browser or set your browser to use only certain cookies.

Cookies will be processed for a maximum period of 13 months and may be disclosed to data processors.

The shop's web interface uses Google Analytics and Google Adwords, provided by Google, Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics will use cookies if the user consents to their processing.

The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States of America. Google will use this information for the purposes of evaluating the use of the web interface of the shop and compiling reports on its activity for the administrator and for the use of the Internet in general. Google may also disclose this information to third parties if required to do so by law or if such third parties process this information for Google. Google will not associate the user's IP address with any other data in its possession.

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), the user whose personal data is processed has the right to request access to the personal data and information referred to in Article 15 of the GDPR, the right to rectification or erasure, or restriction of processing, and the right to data portability to another controller under the conditions and with the restrictions set out in Article 20 of the GDPR. The user has the right to object to the controller against the processing of his/her personal data. The legal basis for the processing of users' personal data is the performance of the contract and the legitimate interest of the controller. The controller processes personal data for the purposes of contract performance and direct marketing purposes in the scope of name and surname, residential address or delivery and billing address, if different from the residential address, identification number and tax identification number, e-mail address and telephone number, whereby the provision of personal data is voluntary. In addition, text cookies stored in the user's browser are processed for the purposes of the proper functioning of the website.

The controller processes personal data for the purposes of contract performance for as long as necessary for the performance of the contract, for direct marketing purposes for a period of 1 year after the personal data has been obtained and in relation to cookies for as long as necessary to ensure the correct functioning of the website.

Should the user believe that the controller or processor is carrying out processing of his/her personal data that is contrary to the protection of the user's private and personal life or contrary to the law or the GDPR, in particular if the personal data are inaccurate with regard to the purpose of their processing, the user may ask the controller or processor for an explanation or request that the controller or processor remedy the situation. In the event that the user is dissatisfied with the processing of personal data, he or she may address his or her complaint to the controller or the Office for Personal Data Protection, located at Pplk.
